The recent Tirumala Laddu controversy has exposed a deeper problem in the temple management system. It shows how sacred Hindu institutions are being corrupted under government control. This sacrilege demands more than just condemnation. It demands action. Thankfully, Pawan Kalyan has made a just request on behalf of Hindus to the government. He asks the central government to establish a Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board.

This Board will be a national body dedicated to the protection and preservation of our temples, customs, and traditions.

For far too long, the control of Hindu temples has been in the hands of political actors who may have little regard for the sacredness of these institutions. The desecration of Tirumala’s sacred prasadam with animal fat, including fish oil and beef tallow, is a direct attack on the heart of Sanatana Dharma. Sanatanis can no longer allow their places of worship to be desecrated or trivialized in the name of profits or neglect! Nor can the Sanatan Dharma practices be violated by those who do not share our reverence for them. Thus, the Sanatana Rakshana Board shall be the authority to ensure that Dharma stays unblemished by petty politics!

The Tirumala Laddu Controversy: A Symptom of a Larger Crisis

The shocking revelation that the Tirumala Laddu, a sacred offering to Lord Venkateswara, contained animal fat has shaken the faith of millions. Many Sanatnis are reeling after the Lab Reports confirmed the presence of Beef Tallow and Fish Oil! Netizens ask how such a heinous act takes place right under the nose of TTD in one of the most sacred temples for Hindus. This is not a mere lapse in quality control; it is a desecration of faith. The TTD Board stands accused of playing with the sentiments of millions for the sake of profit lines. The YSRCP faces the brunt of the accusations for allowing Non-Sanatanis and Non-Believers to control centers of Hindu worship.

Devotees are rightfully demanding accountability, and the latest updates show that an inquiry has been launched, but will that be enough?

This incident has brought to light a much larger issue – the control of Hindu temples by the government. When political interests override dharmic principles, sacred practices are desecrated, and the faith of millions is shattered. This is why the formation of the Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board is an urgent necessity.

Free Hindu Temples From Government Control

The desecration of faith through the Tirumala Laddu is a clear example of how political interference in temple administration can lead to the destruction of sacred practices. For centuries, Hindu temples have been centers of Sanatana Dharma. They are not just places of worship. They are custodians of ancient rituals, protectors of sacred lands, and symbols of our cultural and spiritual heritage. Yet, under government control, these institutions are being mismanaged or desecrated.

Under government control, temples are turned into a profit-generating enterprise; where income and expenses are the bottom line, not Dharma.

Thus, it is time to free Hindu temples from government control. The Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board would serve as an independent body to govern temples. It can ensure that Hindu temples are managed by those who understand and respect the sanctity of dharma. Therefore, temples should be in the hands of devotees, not politicians who use them as tools for personal gain or political agendas.

Hence, the Tirumala Laddu controversy is a wake-up call. If Sanatanis do not act now, more of our temples and sacred practices will face similar desecration. Sanatana Dharma need protection. Thus, let Bharat unite to form the Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board and restore Bharat’s temples to their rightful guardians to those who truly honor and uphold dharma.
