Sambhal Violence – A Pre-Planned “Peaceful” Conspiracy Of Chaos

Must Read

The recent Sambhal violence exposes the dangers of the “peaceful” community and its political machinations. What was presented as a spontaneous clash against the court-mandated survey of the Jama Masjid in Sambhal, is now revealed to be a pre-planned “peaceful” act of mobocracy, orchestrated by rival politics fueled by anti-establishment communal factions. With five lives lost and several injured, the incident underscores the true face of the “peaceful” minority of Bharat! Let’s talk!

Unfolding Chaos Of Sambhal Violence: A Planned Attack?

Sambhal violence erupted when a mob of over 2,500 “peacefuls” clashed with the police. Their objections were against the survey team conducting a court-ordered inspection of the Jama Masjid of Sambhal. While the survey team was doing its second survey in the presence of Muslim representation, a crowd began to gather in protest. Soon, “peacefuls” began to hurl stones, chappals, and other projectiles at the police. Some “peacefuls” participated in this pre-planned attack by hurling projectiles from rooftops.

The drone footage and police videos show masked men inciting violence and gunmen firing bullets from country-made pistols.

The witness accounts and video evidence suggest that while some residents tried to pacify the enraged youth, others actively incited the crowd to violence. The incident spiraled out of control and the crowd set fire to vehicles of the police or policemen. The police, outnumbered and under attack, responded with pellet guns and tear gas.

Reports confirm that of the five fatalities, few resulted from close-range firearm injuries inflicted by 315-bore bullets, typical of country-made pistols.

Divisional Commissioner Aunjaneya Singh clarified that the autopsy reports of the deceased ruled out police involvement in the shootings. Other deaths were attributed to stampeding or being dealt a blow with the same projectile stones these “peacefuls” hurled at the police! The country-made-bullet-related death and the confiscated 2-sided “khanjar” led investigators to consider that the deaths could be caused by rival factions within the mob itself.

Turk vs. Pathan: A Power Struggle in Sambhal

A theory presents that the Smabhal violence was a consequence of a simmering feud between two dominant Muslim communities. The region is home to the Turks and the Pathans. The two groups have a long history of rivalry, both social and political.

Police speculate that provocations by Samajwadi Party MP Ziaur Rahman Barq, a Turk, and Pathan MLA Iqbal Mahmood Ansari’s supporters led to Sambhal Violence.

Reportedly, the violence sparked when Barq’s supporters allegedly opened fire on Ansari’s followers. What began as a community-level conflict quickly escalated into full-blown chaos! Consequently, endangers the sensitive nature of the mosque survey. Claims of “native vs. foreign” and “Turk vs. Pathan” rivalries have deepened the fault lines, transforming the district into a battleground for influence.

FIRs have been filed against MP Ziaur Rahman Barq and MLA Iqbal Mahmood’s son Sohail Iqbal.

The police have arrested 25 individuals and registered seven FIRs against over 2,500 people.

The UP Police accuse them of inciting the violence and mobilizing mobs. Senior police officials believe that the attack was premeditated, with weapons and stones stockpiled in advance. Drone footage and witness testimonies have corroborated the presence of masked men among the rioters, further indicating a planned conspiracy. Barq stands accused of making inflammatory remarks about the mosque’s survey. Sohail Iqbal allegedly helped gather the crowd at the site.

A “Peaceful” Display of Mobocracy

Political leaders like Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party labeled the incident as a government conspiracy. However, the evidence paints a different picture. The mob’s actions of attacking police, obstructing a lawful survey, and arson are well-known “peaceful” tactics!

Muslim-dominant regions often display such symptoms where organized “peaceful” chaos replaces democratic processes.

The use of country-made firearms, stockpile stone pelting, and deliberate targeting of law enforcement highlight the dangerous precedent of “peaceful” mobocracy. In this case, “peacefuls” were against the mosque survey. However, it soon spiraled into a calculated display of violence aimed at intimidating authorities and internal gang wars!

Sambhal – A Dangerous Precedent

The Sambhal Violence is a stark reminder of the fragile balance between law, religion, and politics in India. A legal mosque survey can trigger the “peacefuls.” And the undercurrents of internal “peaceful” rivalry can ensure that calculated provocations turn into a deadly confrontation.

This incident is not just about one district or one community; it is a reflection of how Bharat is being subjected to “peaceful” mobocracy. All the while making the establishment carry the burden of blame!! These stone-pelting “peacefuls” are an effective tool for those seeking power at any cost. And the citizens of India pay the cost in consequent loss of lives, damaged property, and the atmosphere of fear!

India must learn a valuable lesson from Sambhal Violence – “peacefuls” can go to any extent to ruin the fabric of law and order!

And “peaceful” mobocracy has become the norm rather than the exception.
