Paris Olympics Start With A ‘Peaceful’ Bang!

The Paris Olympics began with a ‘peaceful’ chaos! A once-in-four-year international sports event, meant to celebrate athletic prowess and global unity, is marred with controversy. The opening day of the football tournament saw Morocco secure a questionable 2-1 victory over Argentina. However, the match will only be remembered for the ‘peaceful’ one-of-a-kind turmoil that turned soccer into a circus! Let’s talk!

In what was supposed to be a thrilling encounter, the game between Morocco and Argentina descended into disarray. Morocco’s Soufiane Rahimi scored twice, putting his team ahead. However, the score or the goals are not the story of the match. During the 16th minute of added time, Argentina’s Cristian Medina scored an equalizer. And here the stadium erupted, not in celebration, but in chaos.

Moroccan ‘peacefuls’ invaded the pitch, throwing objects at the players and causing the match to be suspended for two hours.

They even endangered the Argentina players by showing firecrackers at them!

The scene was so bad that the police had to empty the stadium for the game to resume after 2 hours of waiting. When play resumed, the equalizing goal was disallowed for offside. Thereby, leading to a contentious end to a match already fraught with disruptions.

Argentina’s coach Javier Mascherano described the scene as “the biggest circus I have ever seen in my life.”

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi expressed his disbelief on social media, labeling the situation as “Unbelievable.”

Paris Olympics Chaos: A Story Of Immigration Without Integration

This incident at the Paris Olympics is symptomatic of larger issues within France and the European Union. The volatile situation at the stadium is a direct consequence of the EU’s Migration and Asylum Policy. Macron’s France, with its significant immigrant population from Algeria, Morocco, and other parts of the Islamic world, faces ongoing struggles with assimilation and integration.

Thus, the events at the Paris Olympics showcase underlying communal tensions that exist in France. Moreover, they highlight a potential for these tensions to spill over into ‘peaceful’ violence at the drop of a hat! The asylum policy allows ‘peacefuls’ to seek refuge within the EU. Critics argue that this policy allows a deliberate demographic change in parts of European nations. The large numbers of settlers on government payoffs do not attempt to adopt and assimilate with their host nation’s culture. Therefore, the EU suffers violence due to immigration without integration! 

Instead, these ‘peacefuls’ cause law and order issues culminating in targeted violence against locals and tourists alike.

The situation at the Paris Olympics is a stark result of these policies and the inability of the West to handle the problem they invited into their homes. The Morocco vs Argentina U-23 match saw “peaceful” Moroccan fans intimidate the Argentina team. This was a consequnce of the inability to shed “peaceful” natural association despite adopting French citizenship. Unfortunately, the world is witnessing a sharp spike in such ‘peaceful’ incidents across several European nations.

Defending the Indefensible?

The harrowing scenes from the Paris Olympics teach the world that ‘peaceful’ loyalty cannot be bought with Western social security money! While the ideals of asylum are essential, a balanced approach to immigration is essential for the survival of the host nation. Unfortunately, the Argentina team’s misfortune on the football field in Paris is being brushed aside by the organizers as ‘good-natured’! 

Thus, even before the opening ceremony begins, France finds itself in a difficult position of having to defend the indefensible.

while they hang their heads in shame in secret, they claim the “small intrusion” came from a place of happiness!

The nation’s image and integrity stand tarnished to the extreme due to the increasing presence of ‘peace’ in France! The Paris Olympics, meant to be a beacon of hope and unity, are stained with “peaceful” violence from the very onset. The harassment of the Argentina’s football team by Moroccan fans makes many wonder if France will burn when a ‘peaceful’ nation loses!?! The ‘peacefuls’ have successfully mocked the Olympics and Macron’s policies of unity. The ostrich syndrome of the organizers may carry steep costs. The committee and authoriites need to wake-up to reality on ground. Let’s hope that even if they began with ‘peaceful’ chaos, the Paris Olympics end in the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity!
