The Kanwar Yatra begins on 22nd July 2024. However, an administrative request in Muzaffarnagar has become the eye of a stormy controversy. The Muzaffarnagar police issued a directive for all food vendors along the Yatra route to display the names of owners and workers. This declaration of honesty is being termed as the Nazi-like discriminatory order. And it has sparked a heated debate across social media. Let’s explore!
Kanwar Yatra And The Request For Transparency
The Muzaffarnagar Police wanted to assure the Kanwar Yatris of Total Transparency! Thus, they sent out a directive that requested vendors to display their identities clearly. Many Muslims use Hindu names or names of deities. However, some ‘peaceful’ prefer to spit, pee, or violate the purity of the food they sell.
Kindly notice on tamizuddin a cook in a Ghaziabad dhaba openly spitting on roti 🫓 (thook jihad)
Why should Hindu kanwariyas eat this food 🥘
I am Muslim even I can’t eat this thooka food chi @VHPDigital @AIMPLB_Official pic.twitter.com/wGQcEbLEqD— Nazia Elahi Khan (Modi Ka Parivar) (@NaziaElahiKhan1) July 18, 2024
In their deranged minds, these peacefuls think that by defiling Hindu piety their One-God will guarantee them Jannat and maybe even ’72 Hoor’!
This is the reason why Yogi Adityanath made it mandatory for the fruit and vegetable vendors, restaurant and dhaba owners on the route of Kanwar Yatra to write their names on the board. pic.twitter.com/8A9c71liCB

Many instances of bad sanitary practices featuring ‘peacefuls’ may be a driving cause behind this declaration. Therefore, supporters of this honest request for transparency state that this move will ensure purity and safety for Kanwadiyas. These religious Yatris, who seek Satvik and uncontaminated food, will be able to choose whom they buy their sustenance. They very genuinely ask:
If the Muslim community can have Halal practices, why can’t Kanwadiyas know their food source?
Unhinged Comparison to Nazi Discrimination

Detractors are calling this request by the Muzaffarnagar Police a Nazi-Like Practice! Critics, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, slam the directive as discriminatory. They argue it unfairly targets Muslim vendors. Congress calls it state-sponsored bigotry. However, the administration insists that the transparency initiative is for all vendors irrespective of their religious identity. The request aims to ensure safety and prevent incidents of Kanwandiyas consuming defiled food during their yatra.

Purity Matters for Kanwadiyas. Most only consume satvik food and wish to buy their sustenance from sources they can trust. Knowing vendor identities can help these Yatris make informed choices. The displaying of names will ensure food meets their dietary as well as religious needs. A Muslim vendor promising Satvik food can still sell to pilgrims. The directive isn’t a ban; it’s about honest declaration and informed choices.
Muzaffarnagar UP police has given instructions that on the route of a particular religious procession in near future all the shops restaurants n even vehicles should show the name of the owner prominently and clearly . Why ? . In Nazi Germany they used to make only a mark on…

In The End
The Left-Loonies are demanding the repeal of this directive. However, they forget that Muslims get to stamp their food with Halal Certification and Hindus with Satvik Certification. However, the practice for Satvik Certification cannot work for fruit vendors or juice corners. Thus, asking vendors to display names is a way to ensure the request of the Yatris is met without undue friction!
The Muzaffarnagar police directive aims for honesty and transparency, allowing pilgrims to choose food. This isn’t discrimination but a step toward mutual respect. If one community can have specific dietary practices, others should too. An honest declaration fosters harmony.
