Disinformation on Hindu Kirtan, circulated by Nav Bharat Times, goes viral. The news byte shows Hindus dancing joyously to ‘Hare Krishna’ bhajans in Lucknow’s Hazratganj. The caption, however, told a very different story. The media outlet claimed the video depicted “intolerant” performing “Hare Rama” kirtans outside a church, allegedly disrespecting communal harmony.
This is Hajratganj, Lucknow in front of a shop “Sindh” owned by a Hindu family. Not in front of any church. https://t.co/mHvtqkgVR4

But here’s the truth: the bhajan-kirtan was not outside any church or cathederal. Instead, the Hindu ISKCON group was celebrating “prabhat pheri” outside a Sindhi-owned shop with the full consent of the owners. This misrepresentation wasn’t just an innocent mistake. It was deliberate disinformation aimed at tarnishing Hindu identity.
The Real Agenda Behind Disinformation On Hindus
Wait. Question for friends in Lucknow.
Was this done *in response to* the Christmas celebration? Or was it a standalone, spontaneous kirtan?
This looks like Hazratganj to me (spotted Royal Cafe board in background).
Which means that the Christmas celebration being referred… https://t.co/aiyY9qUNxx pic.twitter.com/QLtPwwL9wi

This viral disinformation isn’t an isolated incident. It fits perfectly into the larger playbook of anti-Hindu and anti-India forces. They work overtime to defame Hindus in Bharat and beyond. The reasons are clear and calculated.
Smearing Hare Krishna Bhajan – Fear of ISKCON’s Growing Influence
It seems that misinformation is being spread to create division in society.
The video, falsely claimed to be outside the Lucknow Cathedral Church, has been misrepresented by some individuals.

ISKCON has established Krishna Bhakti across Christian-majority nations, gaining massive acceptance. The Church are seeing this rise as a threat to their dwindling congregations. The acceptance of Hindu spirituality by Christian followers terrifies the Church. They don’t want Hindus, particularly ISKCON followers, to be seen as compassionate, peaceful, or inclusive.
Thus, showcasing a Hare Krishna bhajan in a bad light helps the Chruch build river banks to prevent further loss of followers.
The toolkit media created a narrative that paints Hindus as either regressive, dirty, or ignorant to shame the rise of ISKCON. Or they showcase Hindus as predatory to demonize Hinduism and ISKCON. By falsely framing Hare Krishna kirtans as aggressive acts, the toolkit aims to harm Hindu identity as well as demonize ISKCON.
Anti-Hindu Disinformation – The Rise of Hindus on the Global Stage
Hindu CEOs, technocrats, business leaders, and politicians are a reality. A simple Google search reveals how hardworking Indians and Hindus are shaping policies and narratives worldwide. This success unnerves Abrahamic ideologues who fight polytheists like Hindus on a foundational level. These one-book religions want to keep the Hindu identity confined to the stereotype of poverty and ignorance.
By attacking Hindu identity using intolerance against Christians and Muslims, they aim to incite global anger towards Indians.
The main aim of spreading disinformation using such videos is to showcase India’s majority as an intolerant and bigoted lot. They want to tarnish the global acceptance of Hindus as progressive, successful, and grounded individuals.
From Misinformation to Disinformation – A Toolkit’s Journey
Ah, thanks for confirming my suspicion.
What you have put here is an edited video.
Where the man says ‘एक तरफ़ Christmas की भीड़’ : that’s Cathedral School. Visuals from there have been spliced with the kirtan video.

Some might argue Nav Bharat Times made an honest mistake. But where is the retraction? Where is the apology? When the truth about the Sindhi shop and the kirtan’s context emerged, the media outlet stayed silent. The viral X post remains undeleted. In fact, Islamists and hate-mongers are circulating the clip to attack Hindus online and offline.

Nav Bharat Times’ silence in the face of exposed lies isn’t negligence; it reflects complicity.
Thus, it seems this wasn’t misinformation born of ignorance. This was disinformation – a deliberate attempt to manipulate public perception.
The anti-Hindu toolkit is predictable. It wants to win via conversion or subversion! Thus, tactics like twisting facts and spreading half-truths are used to make suitable narratives stick. Apologies don’t matter because the damage is already done. The goal is to plant seeds of distrust and paint Hindus as disruptors of communal harmony.
A Coordinated Assault on Hindu Identity

This attack on Hindu identity is not just a local issue. It is part of a global campaign to suppress the rise of Sanatana Dharma. They ignore Islamist riots and label punishment for breaking the law as injustice. Additionally, they accept the use of lying, deceiving, and using ‘fake’ miracles for conversion. Moreover, they paint Hindu genocide as an exaggeration! The pattern is evident:
- Label bhajans and shobha yatras as “communal.”
- Portray Hindu festivals as “environmentally harmful.”
- Question Hindu rituals as “superstitious.”
- Mock Hindu deities as part of “free speech.”
- Break Hindu unity by using “fake caste rhetorics.”
Every step aims to dilute Hindu pride and acceptance. The fear is simple: a confident, unified Hindu identity threatens the ideological monopoly of Abrahamic faiths.
Hindus Must Fight Back
🚨🚨 FAKE NEWS | Lucknow | Iskcon
There is a video viral by some propaganda alleged news channels and as usual Islamic radicals about Iskcon bhajan are being played to disrupt Christmas celebrations in front of a Church.

The time has come to expose these lies. Hindus need to call out biased reporting and demand accountability from media outlets. Bhajans and kirtans are not acts of aggression. They are expressions of joy, devotion, and cultural pride.
To curb misinformation and maintain communal harmony, the Uttar Pradesh Police will appoint ‘digital warriors’ across the state.

The global rise of Hindus is unstoppable. CEOs like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella, technocrats, and political leaders of Indian origin are reshaping perceptions. Hindu philosophy is winning hearts in yoga studios, mindfulness workshops, and ISKCON temples around the world. No amount of disinformation can suppress the truth for long. The more they try to defame us, the stronger we must rise.
Anti-Hindu and anti-India forces are desperate to defame Hindus, but their toolkit is predictable and weak.
The false reporting by the Nav Bharat Times is just another attempt to malign Hindu culture. It’s time to expose the lies, hold the media accountable, and assert the dignity of Hindu identity.
Sanatana Dharma has stood tall for millennia. No evangelist agenda, no Islamist hardliner, and no biased media report can change that.
Let our truth shine brighter than their lies.
