A “peaceful” mob displayed “peaceful” violence in the Kadamtala region in Tripura. The Hindu residents were attacked just three days before the start of Durga Puja. Allegedly, the donation demand of ₹5000 chanda sparked a heated confrontation that led to “peace-inspired” violence in the region.
A local Hindu Puja Club demanded a donation for Puja from a Muslim driver, Jahar Mia. What began as a minor argument of the large chanda quickly escalated into a nightmare. After the altercation was over, the Ummah in Tripura united in a “peaceful” mob breaking into Hindu homes, attacking families, and even targeting women as well as children. Two homes and a beauty parlor were vandalized, leaving 1 man dead and at least 17 people injured.

After the heated verbal altercation with a Hindu Durga Puja Club member, the Driver Mia continued to his destination in Assam. Currently, there are two versions of where the driver was headed in Assam. One version states that the driver was transporting a sick person and his family members. Another version states that the driver was ferrying locals to Assam. However, the Muslim man refused to contribute to the extraordinarily high chanda. Soon the club member and the driver exchanged a fiery verbal volley. A complaint by the driver led to arrest of the chanda demanding club memeber.
However, the incident ignited the fire of “peace” among the One-Book lovers of tripura.
Armed with machetes, they assembled in a “peaceful” mob that looted shops and destroyed property in Kadamtala Bazar. They harmed men, women, and children alike in their “peace-filled” mobocracy! Thereby, leaving the Hindu community terrorized. Reports state that a devastated Hindu asked “Is this India? Where do we go from here?” in her voice filled with fear.

The situation in North Tripura worsened as arson attacks ravaged the market, and law enforcement had to resort to lathi charges to bring the violence under control.

Despite the efforts of the police, the damage was already done. Tripura State Rifles and the Central Armed Police Forces were deployed to restore order. All of this was because the “peacefuls” felt slighted for being asked to contribute to an annual community function held by Hindus. Â

“Toolkit” Media Fails to Name “Peacefuls” Behind Tripura Violence

Mainstream media outlets, such as The Statesman, have softened their reporting on this brutal attack. They refuse to highlight the Muslim Islamist identity of the perpetrators. Instead, they referred to the violence as a “clash between two religious communities.” India Today‘s report only blames the Hindu Puja Club for their outrageous demand for chanda! They do not stress how after the altercation was over, the “peacefuls miscreants broke into the homes to loot, plunder, and harm Hindus!
This deliberate misrepresentation downplays the targeted attack on Hindus and glosses over the deep-seated Hinduphobia that underpins such “peaceful” incidents.
Bangladesh, turning more hostile by the minute, is also witnessing an escalation of anti-Hindu pogroms and violence against Durga Puja. West Bengal’s Muslim-dominant regions have also started to protest against Durga Puja. And now Tripura is becoming another frontier where Hindus are increasingly under attack in their land.
Thus, Hindus need to face a larger question: Why is the truth being censored? Why is the media reluctant to call out the attackers for what they are—Islamist radicals threatening the very fabric of Hindu festivals and traditions in Sanatana Dharam?

The recent violence in North Tripura ended with a BNS 163 banning public gatherings in the region. However, this disturbing incident is a reminder of the growing threats Hindus face in their own homeland. What began as a dispute over Durga Puja donations has spiraled into a brutal mob attack on Hindu homes and businesses, with the community left reeling in fear.
The soft handling of the incident by ‘Toolkit media only fuels further concern. Any place where the “peacefuls” population increases to be in double digit percentage, becomes a new battleground for Hinduphobia. And Tripura seems to be following in the footsteps of West Bengal. If these targeted attacks continue, and the truth remains distorted or ignored, the safety and cultural heritage of Hindus in Bharat will remain at risk. Hence, Hindus of the nation must awaken to form a line of defense and offense to protect their way of life! Else it may soon become too late for Sanatana Dharma.Â
