The situation escalated as the attackers physically assaulted the Hindu students. They also resorted to hurling abuses at Hindu deities, adding a religious dimension to the conflict.

In a chilling testimony, Aditya Pratap Singh, a final-year M.A. student, recounted the harrowing ordeal endured by himself and his fellow Hindu classmates. He detailed how the celebrations turned into a nightmare as they faced verbal abuse and physical assault, with the attackers brandishing weapons and hurling derogatory remarks at their religious beliefs.
The police intervened to restore order and initiate legal proceedings. However, concerns linger regarding the underlying tensions and potential repercussions of the incident.
