Red Revenge After Kanker Naxal Encounter

Must Read

Bharat won a small triumph over the Naxal menace in Chhattisgarh. The rugged terrain of Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district echoed with gunshots as the State Police and BSF dealt a deadly blow to 29 Naxals. The entire operation was just days before the crucial Lok Sabha elections in the state. However, reports show that Maoists avenged the deaths of their ‘comrades’ by targeting a BJP leader.

All the while the ‘Left Wing Extremism’ peaked in the CON party’s portrayal of the incident. CON party spokesperson, Supriya Shrinate calls the dead Naxals “Martyr” or “Shaheed”. Moreover, she states that the party expresses sympathy with the dead Maoists and demands an inquiry into the entire operation. Does anyone get ‘Balakot Flashback’ upon hearing this statement? Is Supriya Shrinate insinuating that Naxals obtained ‘Veergati’ while fighting the security forces? Uncover the dark tale of ‘Red’ vengeance!

On Tuesday night, right after the kills in Kanker Naxal Encounter were confirmed, BJP leader and Deputy Sarpanch Pancham Das Manikpuri‘s home was invaded by an action force of Maoists. They stabbed the leader with sharp weapons resulting in his death. The brutal assault was vengeance for their fallen comrades in the Kanker operation. However, the PLGA that claimed responsibility for the murder used labels of corruption and anti-Naxal activities to justify the attack.

In the past one year, Naxals have been deliberately targeting BJP workers and leaders in the state.

Since February 2023, Pancham Das Manikpuri’s death is the ninth life of a BJP worker claimed by the red warriors!

HM Amit Shah stated that ever since the BJP won the assembly polls 3 months ago, 80 Maoists have died, 125 were arrested, and 150 have surrendered. The party aims to uproot the Maoist terrorists from Bharat. Additionally, he stated that doors of conversation were open to those who want to return to the folds of honest society. However, some groups still hold on to the idea of violence to unleash terror in the state. Thus, the police and the BSF have been working on the front foot to counter the influence of such groups.

Details of the Kanker Naxal Operations

A few days ago, the police had declared a reward of 5 lakhs for any pertinent information about the Maosist in the region. The money would be granted as a reward by the government. Some reports state that every dead red warrior was worth jobs for 5 locals. Thus, the security forces had declared war on rampant Naxals in the region!

On 16th April 2024, with precision and valor, security forces engaged in a relentless four-hour gun battle with armed Naxals in Chhattisgarh.

The clash occurred in the dense jungles in the Kanker region. The strategic coordination of the Chhattisgarh Police’s District Reserve Guard and BSF ensured the success of the mission. 29 Naxalites, including top leaders Lalitha and Shankar Rao (has a reward of 25 lakhs on him), were shot dead in the operation.

The Naxals wanted to create a strong base near the thick jungles and high-terrain regions. They supposed that the canopy of trees and the hills would hamper any security operations against the outfit. However, the joint teams conducted a ‘HOT PURSUIT’ operation to kill 29 Maoists and reclaim the region from their anti-social and illegal activities. Reports claim that the police recovered 22 weapons, including 7 AK-47 rifles, Insas rifles, 9MM pistols, two country-made launchers, eight muzzle-loading guns, and hand grenades from the site. 18 Naxal bodies have been recovered so far. Unfortunately, 2 security personnel were injured in the operation.

CON Party Calls Naxals ‘Shaheed’

While most of Bharat was celebrating this victory, the CON party spokesperson chose to cast these Naxlaites into the role of ‘Martyrs’! Supriya Shrinate expressed her solidarity with the families of the dead Naxals and hoped that an investigation will be conducted into the operation. Sounds similar to the INC’s narrative on IAF’s Balakot Attack? Is Kanker the new Balakot? Are BSF and police on INC’s hate-radar like the defence forces? Maybe! The BJP has responded to her comments as ‘Shameless’!

Therefore, in the wake of such misguided glorification of Maoist insurgents, it is important to denounce the notion of Naxals as “martyrs.” These anti-social individuals, who sow seeds of terror and violence, do not deserve the honor bestowed upon true patriots who sacrifice lives for the nation’s welfare. Let Bharat not be misled by CON party propaganda but instead uphold the valor of our security forces, who stand as a wall to protect the nation from internal and external attacks.

Points To Ponder

Beneath the veneer of insurgency lies the insidious influence of foreign agendas seeking to destabilize our nation. The flourishing and well-supplied Maoists point to the presence of Communist forces that work towards destabilizing Bharat’s internal security. Additionally, the specific targeting of BJP workers and leaders highlights a political angle to the Maoist problem. Are external forces exploiting the grievances of our tribal communities to destabilize Bharat? Is a foreign Communist nation attempting to interfere with 2024 elections by hunting down BJP leaders in the Naxal-infested state? Was the statement by the CON party written by its Chinese masters? Who knows!

As the dust settles on the battlefield of Kanker, Bharat mourns the loss of another innocent at the hands of Maoists. With INC’s insinuations flying around, the victory over rampant Naxalites finds it difficult to shine with each new dawn. The resounding triumph against Maoist insurgents symbolizes BJP”s commitment to combat terrorism while upholding peace and prosperity for all. Let the success of Kanker Naxal Encounter not become another ‘Balakot’ under the CON party’s words. Do not forgive these Maoists who kill innocents to avenge their fallen colleagues. Moreover, let us vow to only honor the sacrifices of our brave security forces in this encounter. Let the nation’s commitment to a Naxal-free Bharat shine bright! Jai Hind!
