In a landmark ruling, a POCSO court has declared six men guilty in the infamous 1992 Ajmer sex scandal. After three long three decades, the horrifying crime that haunted the girls of Bharat has reached the final verdict. Over 100 female students were gang-raped, blackmailed, and silenced by a well-connected group of Muslim men.
The accused used their political clout as a Congress leader to shield themselves for years. One by one, the victims were silenced until only one voice cried for justice. Finally, the last batch of perpetrators were sentenced under POCSO ACT. Unfortunately, public scrutiny has destroyed the lives of innocent victims, of the 100 victims – 6 took their lives. Thus, Ajmer’s name stays stained with this Sex Scandal by the power-mad Congressi “peacefuls”!
Details of the Horrific Ajmer 1992 Sex Scandal
The scandal involved 18 accused, including prominent names like Farooq and Nafees Chishti, Salim Chishti, and Naseem alias Tarzan. The main accused was Farooq Chisti, the President of the Ajmer Youth Congress. Nafees Chisti and Answar Chisti were the Vice-President and Joint Secretary of the Ajmer Indian National Congress. These men preyed on underage schoolgirls, luring them into their web via the help of their victims.
Nude pictures, blackmail, and non-consensual sex were part of their agenda for these young Hindu girls.
They photographed the sexual assault of these girls and used their photographs as blackmail material. The blackmailed girl was used to lure more and more innocent young girls into the sex ring. The Chistis operated with an arrogance born from their political Congressi influence and the Ajmer Chisti Dargah’s protection. Hence, they believed themselves untouchable. Therefore, the trauma faced by these girls was compounded by the deafening silence from authorities. Why? Because they were reluctant to take action against these powerful and well-connected criminals.
Under Congress rule, the Rajasthan High Court forgave the life sentence of Farooq Chisti.
He still lives peacefully with his family and continues his unconcerned, happy life under the Ajmer Dargah’s shield. While 4 accused served sentences, others evaded justice for years. Today in Rajasthan, the POSCO court sentenced Nafees Chishti, Naseem alias Tarzan, Salim Chishti, Iqbal Bhati, Sohail Ghani, and Syed Jameen Hussain guilty as charged. They shall be fined 5 lakhs each and serve life imprisonment!
Of the original 18 accused, 1 committed suicide, 1 was charged with molestation of a boy, and 1 was described as absconding. The remaining 6 were charged today, bringing this Sex Scandal Nightmare to an end. However, justice delayed is justice denied. Thus, the 32-year delay is a symbol of the long-standing challenges of women’s safety when influential predators are allowed to go unaccountable.
