Troubled Trudeau Makes Desperate Gambit: Blames India To Hide Chaos In Canada!

Must Read

Canada, under PM Justin Trudeau, is spiraling into a state of confusion and chaos. As Pierre Poilievre surges in popularity, PM Trudeau’s position is becoming increasingly fragile. Currently, Trudeau is on the verge of being voted out of power by his own party members after losing the support of the NDP and Jagmeet Singh!

With dropping approval ratings showing Trudeau 19 points below Polivier, the PM appears to be grasping at straws to maintain power.

Barely surviving two No-Confidence motions, the Liberals under Trudeau are set to use India as a hook in a pre-poll gambit to gain popularity! And this political desperation took on the face of the recent diplomatic spat between Canada and India. All in the name of a red-flagged and wanted terrorist by India that Canada considers a mere naturalized Canadian plumber, Khalistani terrorist named Hardeep Singh Nijjar!!!

While Indians laugh at Trudeau’s baseless allegations against India, they also smell the stench of political opportunism and an attempt to deflect from his domestic crises.

By dragging India and even Indian HM Amit Shah into the controversy, Trudeau is showing that he’s willing to go to any lengths to save his throne. He will not stop at even waging a diplomatic war with a rising global power like India, just to secure a few more votes from Khalistani sympathizers!

Brief History Of Indo-Canadian Conflict Under Trudeau

The current diplomatic crisis erupted in mid-2023 when Canadian PM Justin Trudeau accused India of involvement in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Najjar was a known Khalistani terrorist given legitimacy on Canadian soil. The Indian government had sent a red notice to Canada asking for the deportation of Nijjar who had killed 6 in a bomb blast in Punjab! This designated terrorist in India was involved in terror funding and anti-India activities while enjoying a safe haven in Canada. All of this courtesy of Trudeau’s appeasement policies toward pro-Khalistan groups.

Instead of addressing the growing influence of Khalistani terrorist groups, Trudeau took the astonishing step of blaming India for Nijjar’s death without providing any substantial evidence – only ‘credible allegations’!

Since then, the relationship between the two nations has deteriorated. Trudeau claimed that his government thinks that India could be linked to the murder, yet no proof has surfaced to support his claims. Now, his accusations are echoed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). However, they use ‘credible motives’ to absurdly suggest that Indian government agents were using criminal gangs, like the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, to target Khalistani figures in Canada. It seems that he forgot that Indian High Commsioner had warned Canada about these gang members when they executed Singer Moosewala in 2022. And the warnings were all but was ignored by the Liberal administartion asn RCMP!

Hence, India and the world has vehemently denied these charges, calling them “absurd and motivated.”

Trudeau Uses Deflection Tactics: Shifting Focus from Domestic Failures

Trudeau’s attacks on India are nothing more than a smokescreen. They are mean to distract the Canadian public from the Liberal’s mismanagement of domestic affairs. Right on the heels of losing a Montreal elections and a special election in Toronto, Trudeau faces plummeting approval ratings. Consequently, the Liberals face mounting pressure from the opposition leader, Pierre Poilievre. His government has been plagued by a litany of crises.

Here is what Trudeau does not Candians to focus on:
  1. Rising Inflation and Intertest Rates: Currently, th einflation in Canada is marked at 2.4%. This high inflation coupled with high interest rates is making it difficult for the common Canadian to survive under Troubled Trudeau!
  2. Strained Healthcare System: The Liberals have ensured that healthcare is scarce and expensive. Thereby, causing a growing restless among the Canadians.
  3. Immigration Crisis: Trudeau administartion has unlimited love for the large number of immigrants in the nation. Hence, Canadians feel that the system is overloaded, with its scales not tipped in their favor under the Liberals.
  4. Housing Market Debacle: Homeownership is becoming unattainable for many Canadians due to skyrocketing real estate prices. Trudeau’s government has been criticized for failing to address housing affordability and the rental crisis.
  5. Ethics Scandals: Trudeau has faced multiple ethics violations throughout his political career, including the SNC-Lavalin scandal, the WE Charity controversy, and questions about preferential treatment to friends and family in government contracts.

Additionally, PM Justin’s leadership was questioned, not just by the opposition, but also within his own party.

Stoking International Tensions To Hide Incompetence?

The public is growing restless, and the writing on the wall is clear: Trudeau’s grip on power is slipping.

Hence, by focusing on India, Trudeau seeks to divert attention from these pressing issues. He has weaponized the murder of Nijjar to rally the support of Sikh extremists and Khalistani sympathizers. Under Jagmeet Singh of NDP, they have formed a significant vote bank in certain regions of Canada. However, Jagmeet Singh recently criticized PM Justin for failing to deliver a more forceful stance against India. Faced with declining support, Trudeau has found a convenient scapegoat in India.

Thus, he hopes that by stoking fears of foreign interference, he can shore up his dwindling support base.

But this move reeks of sheer political desperation.

It is nothing short of political theater aimed at appeasing a few Khalistani extremists at the cost of Canada’s long-standing diplomatic relations with India. Trudeau’s allegations against Indian diplomat and Home Minister while alleging their involvement in a conspiracy against pro-Khalistan elements further highlight his misguided priorities. His ‘credible motives’ are nothing short of a man-child tantrum!

Diplomatic War: Is Trudeau Ready for the Consequences?

The situation between India and Canada has once more turned for the worse. Yesterday, India expelled six Canadian diplomats, who shall leave Bharat by 19th October 2024. Hence, under Trudeau’s leadership, Canada shall soon pay a very high price for its hostile rhetorics and fantastical claims against India! Canada’s unfounded accusations are a clear sign that Trudeau is not just targeting India’s diplomats but its entire government.

By bringing in HM Amit Shah, PM Justin is signaling that he’s prepared to escalate this conflict into a full-blown diplomatic war.

Expulsions Are Just The Start For Canada?

His actions have led to expulsions of Canadian diplomats and further souring relations will follow soon. The last time this occurred, India paused Trade and Visas to Canada. The resultant loss had Canada going on bended knees to restart trade with Bharat! The expulsion of six Canadian diplomats by India is a direct response to Trudeau’s baseless accusations. India, with a clear and consistent stance against terrorism, refuses to entertain Trudeau’s immature and ill-considered political games.

It’s apparent that Trudeau is now banking on international sympathy for his manufactured crisis.

However, with the US struggling under  pressure of invoking RAW Ajit Doval’s name shall be of no real help. And the rest of the international community is far from convinced. India has consistently denied these allegations, calling them a “strategy of smearing India for political gains.” This diplomatic row is not only damaging for Trudeau but for Canada’s international reputation as well.

To align with terrorist forces like the Khalistanis for short-term political gains is a dangerous path, one that could isolate Canada further on the global stage.

This appeasement is now coming back to haunt the Liberals. Jagmeet Singh and other Khalistani leaders in Canada seem disillusioned with Trudeau’s inability to “punish” India for the Najjar killing. They want this at all costs, even though no evidence exists to substantiate the claim of Bharat’s involvement. It seems that no matter how far Trudeau goes to please this fringe group, it’s never enough.

A Final Act Of Desperate Politician

Consequently, Trudeau’s insistence on dragging India into his domestic mess is a desperate act. The Canadian public is becoming increasingly aware of his inability to govern effectively. And Justin Trudeau’s ploys are growing more transparent with each passing day. His baseless allegations, diplomatic expulsions, and inflammatory rhetoric all point to a man who is losing control.

With Pierre Poilievre gaining ground in the polls, Trudeau is flailing in the air!

It is clear that Trudeau’s leadership has become an exercise in damage control. Therefore, by targeting India, he hopes to distract from his mishandling of Canada’s economy, housing crisis, and internal security. But in doing so, he risks dragging Canada into a diplomatic conflict that it cannot afford. Thus, Trudeau’s man-child politics, appeasement tactics, and desperate gambits will leave a troubled legacy, one marked by confusion, chaos, and a trail of international failures.
