India Eliminates Killer of Daniel Pearl and IC-814 Hijack Mastermind

Must Read

India’s precision strike has done what Pakistan’s courts never dared. In a thunderous blow to jihadist terror, Indian forces eliminated Abdul Rauf Azhar—mastermind of the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the brutal beheading of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. The terrorist, brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, was neutralised during the May 7 missile strike on Bahawalpur under Operation Sindoor.

Operation Sindoor Hits Jaish at Its Core (Killing Daniel Pearl’s killing too)

Among the nine terror hubs hit during the operation, the Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur stood as the beating heart of Jaish’s indoctrination, planning, and execution network. This same facility housed the killers of Daniel Pearl—Western journalists and Hindu civilians alike were fair game for these radicals. But not anymore.

Sources confirm that Abdul Rauf Azhar, the de-facto leader of Jaish and mastermind of terror plots against India and the West, was killed along with 10 members of Masood Azhar’s family and 4 close aides. His death sends a clear signal: India will no longer rely on failed diplomacy or hollow Pakistani promises.

Remembering Daniel Pearl

In 2002, American journalist Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded after he reported on terror training camps in Bahawalpur—the same terror base India just reduced to rubble. Former WSJ journalist Asra Nomani, Pearl’s colleague, recalled how Pearl walked into the heart of evil with a pen, not a gun. That bravery cost him his life.

Pearl, a Jewish-American journalist, had unknowingly walked into a trap set by Harkatul Mujahideen’s PR handlers. From there, he was handed to Omar Sheikh—a terrorist freed during the IC-814 hijacking led by none other than Abdul Rauf Azhar. Pearl’s last moments were recorded by jihadists, where he was forced to proclaim his Jewish identity before being beheaded.

Israeli voices, including journalists and former diplomats, have lauded India for delivering justice where Pakistan failed—avenging the murder of a Jewish-American journalist.

Operation Sindoor: Delivering the Justice Pakistan Sheltered

For decades, Pakistan sheltered the perpetrators. Its courts released Omar Sheikh. It refused to touch Masood Azhar. But India’s Operation Sindoor did what had to be done. With surgical precision, Indian missiles demolished Bahawalpur’s JeM HQ—striking the very roots of Islamic terror.

India’s actions weren’t just about avenging Hindu victims of Pahalgam. They also closed the chapter on Pearl’s murderers. No more courtroom games. No more ISI protection. Just swift, righteous punishment.

What India Did, Pakistan Never Could

As Nomani noted, Pearl wasn’t a cowboy—he was careful. But no one imagined that Pakistan, obsessed with its Kashmir jihad, would weaponise its soil so brazenly. Pearl’s death was Pakistan’s shame. Now, his killers lie under the rubble of Bahawalpur.

Operation Sindoor wasn’t just another military strike—it was justice in action. It was Hindu civilisation rising to avenge its dead, its values, and its allies. The blood of innocents cried out—and India answered.

A Message Written in Fire: Never Again

India has redrawn the map of its retaliation doctrine. Every terror mastermind, no matter how protected, will meet his end. Bahawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad—no den is safe now.

Pakistan may continue to cry foul at international forums. But the world remembers Daniel Pearl. The world remembers Pahalgam. And it now sees India not just as a victim of terror—but as a force that ends it.

Let this be known: Bharat won’t forget. And Bharat won’t forgive.
