The National Commission for Backward Classes or NCBC rejected the recommendations to the OBC list made by the West Bengal government. The TMC administration wants to add 83 communities in the Central OBC list. Many would think this is a good thing as it centers on the upliftment of backward sections of society. However, any request by the Mamata ‘Di’ gang is usually a form of appeasement politics to support demographic change. The commission reveals that 73 of the 83 communities recommended by the TMC belong solely to the Muslim communities. Are Muslims the only OBCs in West Bengal??
In 2023, the NCBC noted that 90% of the OBC quota went to Muslims in West Bengal. The commission wanted proof to justify this anomaly. Moreover, a large part of this quota went to Rohingyas and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants. Therefore, the commision wanted to inquire why illegals were added to the OBC list. The NCBC’s inquiries were to ensure social justice in Bharat and West Bengal! However, the TMC did not comply or respond to their requests. Now, the current rejection of TMC’s move has sparked a fresh controversy! Let’s talk about how Mamata Di is using OBC status to encourage demographic change and appeasement of illegal ‘peacefuls’.Â
Why Did NCBC Reject The OBC List Recommendations?
NCBC Chairman Hansraj Gangaram Ahir firmly opposes the inclusion of 83 communities in the OBC category as recommended by the TMC-led West Bengal government. He cites the lack of available data from the state government regarding the social and educational backwardness of the proposed communities. However, he emphasizes the need to adhere to the appropriate criteria set by the Supreme Court’s judgment on social and educational backwardness. While rejecting the TMC’s proposal he urges them to provide relevant data to prove their claims.
Additionally, Ahir also highlighted the issue from 2023. As per NCBC’s data, the state’s recommended OBC list comprises 179 communities, with 61 Hindu OBCs and 118 Muslim OBCs.
Currently, West Bengal has 98 communities in the Central OBC category and 83 of them are from Muslim communities.
During a regional tour in February 2023, the commission discovered that Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants were given OBC certificates to avail of reservation benefits.
Consequently, the NCBC repeatedly requested data from the Chief Secretary of West Bengal on why 90% of the benefits for OBCs went to Muslim communities. The Chief Secretary has been unable to justify or provide data to the committee on the same for the past 6 months!! Therefore, since the state government fails to justify its demands, the commission is forced to reject the new proposal.
West Bengal BJP Alleges Appeasement Politics
In response to NCBC’s objections, BJP leader Amit Malviya accuses the Mamata Banerjee-led government of appeasement politics. He criticizes that the TMC government has failed to prove its claims of backwardness in Muslim communities. This act itself highlights that the OBC certificates and reservation were a form of appeasement policies to the ‘peacefuls’.
Apparently, the real benefits of government schemes never reach the oppressed sections of society under CM Mamata’s Raj!
Furthermore, Amit Malviya states that Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants enjoy these benefits through the protection of TMC. Thereby, disrupting the social fabric of West Bengal and misusing state funds to encourage demographic change for vote benefits.

The demographic change in West Bengal is overwhelmingly obvious to all. Recently a Muslim woman from the state came forward in a media interview to state that most of the Muslim community benefits directly go to the Bangladeshis or Rohingyas. Her statement that a 12th pass candidate is sitting in the chair of a school Principal has stunned all of Bharat. How did this miracle occur? Well, reports state that the West Bengal government gives fake identities and false certificates to facilitate illegal immigration. Thereafter, they are supported by the TMC to enjoy most of the OBC benefits under state and central government schemes.
The viral interview shows that Indian Muslims are also suffering under TMC’s Raj.
The true face of TMC is that Indian Hindus face oppression or peaceful aggression. Indian Muslims are deprived of governmental schemes and benefits in order to favor illegal immigrants. Why? Because a large chunk of CM Mamata’s vote bank comes from these illegals. Moreover, the TMC itself states that the court, the police, the panchayat, and the Vidhan sabha are under their control. Thus, anyone who goes against their will, faces severe consequences.
