AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan Openly Threatens Republic TV Journalist!

Amanatullah Khan, AAP MLA and the party’s candidate from the Okhla constituency, was caught on camera openly threatening a reporter from Republic TV. The MLA lost his cool when the reporter questioned him about his son’s arrogant misbehaviour with a Delhi police personnel. When questioned, Amanatullah Khan not only defended his son but also directly threatened the reporter of physical harm if he didn’t leave. This shocking incident was caught on camera and has now gone viral.

In the video, Amanatullah Khan can be seen blaming the Station House Officer (SHO) for not talking properly with his son. He then called the channel a BJP channel. When the reporter inquired him about his son’s “I am the MLA’s son,” remark which he made to the SHO. Amanatullah Khan lost his cool and threatened the reporter by whispering in his ear, “Tereko itna marunga, chala ja yahan se.”

The Incident

Earlier on Thursday, the Delhi traffic police had booked two persons, including AAP MLA’s son for rash driving and misbehaviour with the patrolling officer. According to the police, they were riding motorcycle erratically from wrong side with a modified silencer. When the patrolling officer confronted them and sought driving license, Amanatullah Khan’s son misbehaved with the police personnel. Reportedly, he had arrogantly declared, “I am the MLA’s son,” to avoid providing a license. As per officials, the MLA’s son had called his father, who also spoke rudely to the Station House Officer (SHO).

According to the case diary, the MLA’s son said, ” Mein Yahan ke MLA Amanatullah Khan ka Beta Hun, aur tum aise kaise mera challan kar sakte ho?” Later on, both the boys had left without disclosing their names or addresses.

The police then registered a case against both the boys for violating various norms of the Motor Vehicle Act and for misbehaving with police on duty. They were issued a challan of Rs 20,000, and the authorities impounded their bikes.
