In a shocking incident that sparked outrage, a Peaceful Barber Uses Spit to Massage a Customer’s Face In UP Salon barber in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj was caught on camera using his spit to massage a customer’s face. The disturbing act, captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media, shows the barber, identified as Yusuf, applying cream and massaging the face of a customer who had his eyes closed. Taking advantage of the customer’s vulnerability, Yusuf is seen spitting on his hand and using it to massage the unsuspecting customer’s face.

The video, reportedly about 10 days old, shows Yusuf giving a thumbs-up after the act. While the oblivious customer also smiles and returns the gesture. However, the video has since provoked outrage, with Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists staging protests and demanding strict action against the barber. Following the incident, Yusuf absconded, and a police case was registered against him, and now has been arrested.

Police Action

Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Kumar acknowledged the incident, stating that the police took note of the video after it went viral. He confirmed that a case had been filed, and efforts are underway to apprehend Yusuf. “The barber’s actions were clearly with wrong intentions,”. SP Kumar remarked, emphasizing that Yusuf will be arrested and face legal consequences.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. In a similar case from June. A barber in Lucknow was arrested after being caught on CCTV using his spit to massage a customer’s face, report. The barber, Zaid, was filmed spitting on his hand and then rubbing it on the face of a customer, Pandit Ashish Kumar, who was unaware at the time. Kumar later discovered the act through CCTV footage and filed a complaint, leading to Zaid’s arrest.
