The Indian Army became the victim of Rahul Gandhi’s caste games. In his recent public rally at Raebareli, the Gandhi scion unleashed a barrage of divisive caste-based rhetoric targeting the ‘Agniveer Scheme’ and the Indian Defence Forces. Gandhi’s contentious remarks not only misrepresented the scheme but also dangerously communalized the ethos of the Indian Army. Let’s discuss the implications of his hurtful words!
Rahul Gandhi Undermines Indian Army
Pappu is now trying to incite SC-ST-OBC class against Indian Army.
He says that Modi has divided Army into two parts. Backward classes are included in Agniveer, who won't be getting any facilities whereas the Indian Army is reserved for Rich UC families only.

Gandhi’s speeches usually take sharp ugly turns to foray into the lanes of casteism and divisive politics. He often uses the ‘jaat-paat’ and ‘minorities’ dialogues, in every facet of human existence from industrialists to students, to insinuate caste bias in all fragments of society. This divisive narrative is a drivel filled with his family’s favorite game of ‘Divide and Rule’! They did it with Akhand Bharat to give rise to Pakistan, and they continued to do so with the rest of Bharat to date. However, this time Rahul Gandhi played his ‘caste’ victim card most dangerously.
Rahul Gandhi suggested at Raebareli that disparity exists between Indian Army soldiers based on their caste distinctions.
He accused PM Modi of creating two categories of jawans: one from marginalized backgrounds or castes and another from affluent upper caste families. Here he labels the ‘Agniveers’ as the Dalit’s and the poor man’s child who will receive no benefits for sacrificing his life! Then he compares others present in the Indian Army to the upper caste who enjoy disproportionate perks. Such characterization not only distorts the reality but also undermines the meritocratic principles of the Indian Armed Forces.
Rahul Gandhi Degrades Service In Indian Army
"Those Indian politicians who are indulging in communal-bashing for electoral gains should stay for one month in an Indian Army unit to see how soldiers of all religions, castes and states live amicably. By their repeated communally-hatred speeches they will one day create a… pic.twitter.com/9QPBepBsDf

In his address, Gandhi went further, wrongly alleging that Agniveers wouldn’t be accorded the status of martyrs like the affluent soldiers of the Indian Army. Moreover, he falsely claims that their families would be deprived of essential benefits. Such baseless claims disrespects the sacrifices made by soldiers and sow seeds of distrust and discord within the military fraternity.
The Indian Army is the last bastion of caste-free merit-based employment.
The security of the nation remains untrivialized by the caste or religion of its soldiers and officers.
Merit and medical fitness are the only two qualifying factors to get employment or gain ranks. Thus, for Rahul Gandhi to use caste as a basis to present Agniveer is a poor example that is not just fallacious but also dangerous. It suggests that in RaGa’s view the nation’s safety should not be handed to the fittest and most able men or women. Rather Rahul Gandhi thinks the honor of defending Bharat Mata should be colored in casteist colors. Moreover, his conversation regarding Indian Army Angniveers presents shallow divisive views on those who choose to sacrifice their lives for the nation.
The Toolkit Exploits Pulwama
If you thought Gandhi’s divisive rhetoric was just harmless words of a powerless man, then you are wrong. His words are a signal to ‘Toolkit’ to begin presenting the sacrifices of soldiers in terms of their castes. Example: The Caravan’s controversial report on the Pulwama terror attack reduced the sacrifice of soldiers to their caste identities.
By initiating these ugly narratives, Gandhi disregards the solemnity of the Armed Forces and undermines their ethos of unity and camaraderie.
The Indian Armed Forces have long been a symbol of unity and integrity, transcending caste, creed, and religion. Any attempt to politicize or communalize the military strikes at the heart of India’s secular fabric. More alarmingly, it jeopardizes Bharat’s national security.
In Summary
Rahul Gandhi’s dangerous rhetoric threatens to pit soldiers against each other using castes. Additionally, it exposes the desperate attempts by the CONgress party to exploit social fault lines for petty political gains. By perpetuating conversation on caste lines regarding the Indian Army, Gandhi undermines the very essence of meritocracy and unity that the Indian Amry stands for.
As India grapples with external threats from hostile neighbors, Rahul Gandhi is becoming the face of India’s internal enemy. Let’s hope the unity within the Armed Forces remains intact despite RaGa’s best attempts. Hopefully, the Gandhi scion will refrain from exploiting the integrity of the military for partisan gains again. Let the nation’s security never again be compromised for the political launch, relaunch, and re-relaunch of Shehzada Rahul Gandhi!
