“Peaceful” Mob Lynches Hindu Boy in Bangladesh – Police and Army Stand In Silence!

Must Read

The latest horror in a long chain of anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh shakes your faith in the Police or Army of the nation! This new chapter in the ongoing persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh unfolded on 4th September 2024 when Utsab Mandal, an 18-year-old Hindu boy, was brutally lynched by a Muslim mob in Khulna.

His alleged crime? A Facebook post that was perceived as an insult to Prophet Muhammad.

Despite the presence of police and army personnel, the mob took justice into their own hands by beating Utsab to death. The tragic incident is yet another instance of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. It also underscores a larger, more disturbing pattern of the Bangladeshi nation. Is the state’s silence a symbol of its complicity in the suppression of its Hindu minority? Why is the media muzzled? And why does the global community turn a blind eye to anti-Hindu pogroms in Bangladesh?

On the fateful day, a mob gathered around Utsab, accusing him of blasphemy for social media. The mob alleged that the post disrespected Prophet Muhammad. Reports state that tensions escalated when Islamist students from Khulna’s Azam Khan Government Commerce College dragged Utsab to the office of Khulna Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner (South) Tajul Islam.

For hours, the Muslim mob besieged the police office, demanding the harshest punishment for the young Hindu boy.

Shockingly, instead of ensuring Utsab’s safety, the police and military personnel allowed the mob to brutally beat him. In viral videos of the incident, Utsab is seen lying on the ground, grievously injured, and lathered in his blood. The “Peaceful” mob screamed “Nastik” at the unconscious boy! This label is often used as a slur against those the “peaceful” deem impious. The horrific part is that the soldiers and policemen stood by as onlookers, watching the lynching unfold without intervening.

At one point, reports state that some personnel were even seen laughing when a member of the mob asked for permission to humiliate Utsab further by making him wear a garland of shoes. The boy’s desperate explanation for his social media post was revenge for an insult to Hindu Dharma. His impassioned plea fell on deaf “peaceful” ears. Utsab Mandal was murdered in cold blood, his death a horrific reminder of how unsafe Hindus have become in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh – A Silent Story Of Hindu Genocide

The brutal lynching of Utsab in Bangladesh is not an isolated crime. It’s part of an alarming pattern of targeted violence against Hindus. The phenomenon is not new and has plagued Bangladesh for years. However, the recent regime change has escalated the anti-Hindu pogroms in the nation.

Once, Hindus comprised over 30% of East Pakistan’s population, but today they make up less than 8% of Bangladesh.

This demographic shift has not happened without violence. Hindu families have faced relentless Islamist violence. Entire villages were denied access to food or water. Hindu homes and temples were burned or desecrated. Hindu businesses were looted, women raped, and men murdered. However, the Bangladeshi government has conveniently brushed these incidents under the rug. The current Yunus administration labels these incidents as “political violence.” And they refuse to acknowledge it as ethnic cleansing of its Hindu minority.

This environment of terror leaves Bangladeshi Hindus feeling abandoned and vulnerable. Their religious identity, land, and lives are under constant threat. And the government, police, and army offer no protection. Instead, these institutions repeatedly turned a blind eye to the violence. And when they do intervene, it is often too late. In the case of Utsab Mandal, their role was too passive to make a difference. The narrative has been twisted to suggest that these incidents are sporadic or politically motivated. However, the reality is that these attacks are systematic, and aimed at driving the Hindu community out of existence.

Bangladeshi Media Silence and the Great Cover-Up

Equally disturbing is how quickly these events are erased from public consciousness. Multiple Bangladeshi news portals like Dhakapost, Samakal, and Skhobor initially reported the lynching but later deleted their articles. These media pages now tow the official political violence agenda. Even Western media copycats like Shekhar Gupta deny the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. This is a clear indication that global media is under pressure to maintain a specific narrative.

Bangladesh wears a fake mask of “Secular” Identity to misrepresent anti-Hindi pogroms as random occurrences of violence.

This media blackout isn’t a new phenomenon in Bangladesh. With the rise of the interim government under Yunus, a Deep State stooge, the media has been increasingly gagged. Reports of anti-Hindu violence are suppressed, with journalists either censored or threatened. In some cases, like that of a pro-Hindu journalist who was found dead recently, the consequences have been fatal. The narrative that the interim government promotes is that all violence is political. Thus, they conveniently ignore the religious hatred that fuels much of it.

This deliberate whitewashing is meant to preserve Bangladesh’s image as a moderate Muslim country on the world stage, even as Hinduphobia runs rampant.

The Role of Western Media in Hiding the Truth

What makes this situation even more tragic is the global media’s unwillingness to call out the anti-Hindu violence for what it is: a systematic pogrom.

Instead, Western outlets often adopt the narrative of the Bangladeshi government. They are portraying such incidents as political unrest rather than religious persecution. Additionally, their refusal to address the Islamic nature of the crimes ensures a continued and unchecked persecution of Hindus.

By focusing on solidifying Yunus’ hold on Bangladesh, the West inadvertently supports Islamists who thrive on suppressing minority rights.

In a world where misinformation is easily spread, the absence of international outrage is deeply concerning. While global media outlets are quick to condemn violence against their enemies, the silence on Hindu persecution in Bangladesh is deafening. This media complicity allows the Yunus government to operate without accountability. Thereby, ensuring that the cycle of violence against Hindus continues unchecked.

Utsab Mandal’s death is more than just another statistic in a long history of anti-Hindu violence. It is a heartbreaking symbol of the hatred and bigotry that Hindus face daily in Bangladesh. His brutal lynching was carried out in broad daylight while security personnel looked on in silence. This incident is a glaring indictment of a society that has failed its minorities.

The deletion of news reports about the incident and the global silence only add insult to injury, erasing the suffering of Utsab and others like him.

Thus, it is high time the world wakes up to the Hindu genocide that is unfolding in Bangladesh. Utsab Mandal’s life, and his horrific death, deserve more than silence. It demands justice from the silent world. Therefore, the international community must stop turning a blind eye to the plight of Bangladeshi Hindus. If the media, governments, and human rights organizations continue to ignore these atrocities, the Hindu community in Bangladesh may soon be wiped out entirely.
