Kejriwal, who is out on interim bail till June 1st for campaigning in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, shamelessly declared that voting for AAP could prevent his return to jail. Evidently, Kejriwal is peddling lies, exploiting people’s emotions for political mileage.
Moreover, the AAP chief resorted to fear mongering tactics, warning voters that his imprisonment would lead to the discontinuation of various public welfare schemes. “If I went back to jail, the BJP would stop your work, free electricity, degrade schools, and shut down hospitals and Mohalla Clinics,” he claimed. Nevertheless, such fear-mongering holds no ground, as the Delhi government’s functioning is not solely dependent on Kejriwal’s presence.
