Bollywood Stars Attempt To Tarnish Diwali: Rajpal Yadav And Ameesha Patel’s Hypocrisy

Must Read

Some Bollywood stars are famous for their performances; others, it seems, for their misplaced moral lectures. This year Sanatanis face-off with Rajpal Yadav and Ameesha Patel as they gear up for an annual Bollywood ritual of ‘Crackdown On Cracker’. These “stars” suddenly have environmental and ethical concerns at Diwali that ring hollow.

From Rajpal’s past “Yesu-Yesu” antics to Ameesha’s contentious charity stories, both actors now urge Hindus to “tone down” celebrations. But are these calls genuine, or just another publicity ploy? With questionable stances and histories, it’s time to question if their sentiments align with Sanatani values or merely aim to dim the lights on Diwali Firecrackers.

Failing Bollywood Career: Rajpal Yadav’s Hypocritical Mask Slips

Once known for his slapstick roles in Bollywood, Rajpal Yadav stands drowned in spit online. His roles lean heavily on caricaturing Hindu priests and traditions, yet Rajpal Yadav attempts to pivot into a moral compass for Hindu traditions. Recently, he called on his fans to abstain from bursting crackers on Diwali, citing environmental concerns and compassion for animals. However, his sudden love for environmentalism doesn’t seem to have extended to his other beliefs.

Rajpal Yadav has no trouble associating himself with aggressive evangelists like Pastor Baljinder, who pushes for Christian conversions in Northern Bharat.

This Bollywood Floppie’s duplicity knows no bounds. He celebrated Jesus by shouting “Mera Yesu Yesu” in a dramatic monkey dance display. But now suddenly finds himself “concerned” about Diwali. His recent “love” for Lord Ram and Ayodhya seems more like an act to pander to his Hindu audience, waving Bahgwa flags only to win sympathy. But come Diwali, he’s once again pointing fingers at Hindu practices. Has his desperate attempt to revive his career led him to adopt moral sermons over authenticity?

Manufactured Morals: Ameesha Patel’s Hollow Diwali Charity Claims

Another Bollywood face has entered the spotlight for her controversial Diwali remarks: Ameesha Patel. In a recent statement, she recounted how she donates to charity rather than “wasting” money on Diwali crackers. The statement was meant to serve two purposes: to present herself as the epitome of compassion and to shame Hindu Celebrations. However, this so-called generosity rings hollow when contrasted with her history of legal battles against her own family.

In 2004, Ameesha famously sued her father for alleged financial mishandling, demanding over Rs. 12 crore.

A star who once enjoyed brief fame, Patel is known to deliver a steady stream of flops with a handful of hits. With a public image of strained family ties, her sudden show of charity on Diwali seems like a strategic mask. It is intended to polish her reputation rather than demonstrate genuine philanthropy. Perhaps if her “charity” had started at home, those courtroom battles might never have occurred.

Final Curtain Call: Stop the Duplicity, Bollywood

These actors’ newfound love for environmental and animal welfare also reveals glaring inconsistencies. When it comes to Diwali, Yadav, and Patel seem ardent defenders of animal welfare and anti-pollution sentiments. But where are their voices on other days? They find no issue with ritual animal slaughter during Eid! And they stay silent on the colossal pollution from wars raging globally.

Why does their environmental consciousness and love for animals arise only when it concerns Hindu festivals?

It’s high time these “floppies” faced society’s questions. By cherry-picking Hindu festivals to preach selective morals, they show contempt for the beliefs of their Hindu fans. Their sentiments on Diwali are nothing but a charade, a last-ditch attempt to regain lost popularity while taking cheap shots at Hindu practices. Instead of focusing on authentic art, they exploit Hindu traditions. All of this is in the hope of getting access to resources guarded by Khanwood! It seems they forget about their Hindu fans who deserve respect for their religious sentiments, not hypocrisy.
