Uttarakhand Congress chief’s vile slander revives a dangerous anti-Hindu narrative that once destroyed lives! In a deeply disturbing remark, the Uttarakhand Congress President Karan Mahara questioned the sanctity and safety of the Kanwar Yatra. He suggested that Kanwariyas could be carrying RDX in their Ganga jal pots, and security needs to be tightened around the Yatra.
This wasn’t a slip of the tongue or miscommunication – it was a cold, calculated attempt to paint the world’s largest peaceful religious procession as a terror threat.
It isn’t the first time. In fact, it fits into a long pattern of anti-Hindu campaigns by Congress and the LeLi ecosystem. They repeatedly and consistently mock, attack, or attempt to criminalize expressions of Hindu devotion. Be it the color saffron, the sound of bhajans, or the steps of a barefoot Kanwariya – Congress’ agenda remains Saffron Terror!
Kanwar Yatra: Devotion Defamed, Dharma Attacked
The Kanwar Yatra is one of Bharat’s oldest traditional religious processions. Crores of Shiv Bhakts carry holy water from the Ganga to offer to Lord Shiva. The tradition is rooted in the Puran when Lord Shiva drank Halahala for the benefit of humanity during Samudra Manthan. Hence, every year the Kanwar Yatra re-enacts how devotees helped calm or alleviate the suffering of their Mahadev by offering Ganga Jal.

But how has the Congress ecosystem treated this deeply spiritual journey?
- They called Kanwariyas “road hooligans” after one viral video. No mention that the entire Yatra is managed by volunteers, sadhus, and disciplined youth, many of whom are working-class Hindus. Later investigations reveal that political parties had their goons dress up as Kanwariya to create a false image of the group.
- In Delhi, under AAP-Congress backed governance, the Yatra was restricted multiple times, citing traffic, while Eid namaz and Tablighi Jamaat gatherings were never touched.
- Digvijay Singh stated that the Kanwar Yatra creates hatred in the nation.
- Dr. Rajneesh Gangwar sang poems for the youth. However, his lyrics asks them to shun in the ritual and devotion. Why? Because Hindu Dharma is not worth it for him! Instead, he preaches their energy would be better spent in pursuing education.
- Kanwar Yatra should undergo police verification says Udit Raj. The Congress leader’s statement sends clear message and intent of INC.
For the elite urban sickularists and Congressi, a man carrying a trishul and chanting “Har Har Mahadev” is threatening. However, to these parasites in the nation, a Tajia or Eid celebration where “peacefuls” wield swords is a progressive and inclusive demonstration.
Saffron Terror: A Fiction Invented to Demonize Hindus
In 2008, Congress took its anti-Hindu obsession to dangerous levels. Digvijay Singh, with the full backing of Sonia Gandhi and the UPA, coined the term “Saffron Terror”.
The narrative blamed:
- Lt. Col. Purohit, a decorated army officer
- Sadhvi Pragya, a cancer patient, tortured in custody
- Hindu spiritual leaders, falsely accused and jailed
All this while ignoring real terror threats from Pak-sponsored jihadi groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. They even ignore how Hindu processions are attacked by “peacefuls” in muslim dominant regions. The plan was sinister: equate saffron with terror, so Hindu symbols could be silenced in the name of “secularism.”
Meanwhile, the UPA 2.0 drafted the Communal Violence Bill, 2011.
If passed, it would have made every Hindu a potential criminal in any communal riot.
Key features of the anti-Hindu bill:
- It defined “victim” only as a minority, even if a Hindu was lynched.
- It made the majority community responsible for preventive measures, not the police.
- It allowed statements from minorities to be considered proof, and placed the burden of proof on the accused (i.e., Hindus).
The BJP, then in opposition, fought tooth and nail to stop this bill from becoming law. Had it passed, any saffron colored flag was cause enough to charge you with inciting communal disharmony.
This wasn’t lawmaking – it was an attempt to rewrite India’s legal structure to criminalize Sanatan Dharma.
Kanwar Yatra – Congress Isn’t Targeting Terror—It’s Targeting Tradition
Let’s not pretend the latest attempt by the Uttarakhand Congress President is about “law and order.” Because if it were:
- Congress would question the mass gatherings at Shaheen Bagh that blocked roads for months.
- It would condemn radical preachers and jihadi slogans being raised in universities.
- It would demand surveillance in madrasas, where anti-national ideologies have been uncovered.
But no. Their fear is not of bombs or Jihadi or even Pakistanis – it’s of bells and bhajans. When a Congress neta says “check the pots of Kanwar Yatris for RDX,” he doesn’t care about security. He’s playing the old game – creating fear around Hindu visibility, reviving fake narratives of Saffron Terror, and painting a saint as a suspect.
The Final Word: Saffron Is Not Terror, It’s Tapasya
The trishul is not a weapon of war – it’s a symbol of divine justice.
The bhajan is not a slogan of hate – it’s a hymn of surrender.
And the Kanwar is not a threat – it’s a tribute of faith.

For every Digvijay Singh and other Congressis who see terror in saffron, there are crores of Indians who wear it with pride. From Shiv Bhakts to Krishna Bhakts, from Tamil Nadu to Maharashtra to Kanwaris walking barefoot in Bihar – this is Bharat, and Bharat is Sanatan.
No matter how many times Congress tries to demonize Hindus, the truth of Dharma will rise. Like the Ganga jal that Kanwaris carry, the soul of this civilization flows, purifies, and withstands every lie hurled at it.
Har Har Mahadev!
