Turkey’s Silent Islamisation of Nepal – Demography Jihad Alert!

Must Read

Nepal was the world’s only Hindu kingdom until 2008. However, ever since the gruesome death of its Royal family in 2001, Nepal has been witnessing an alarming transformation. China attempts to execute its Communist blueprint in the nation. Meanwhile, Islamic forces are busy executing a demographic change in the Roof of the World!

Behind the facade of “secular humanitarianism,” Turkey, in collaboration with Pakistan, has been steadily Islamising the Himalayan nation. Indian Intelligence reports of June 2025 highlight how Turkish-backed NGOs, state agencies, and covert outfits are building mosques, madrasas, and Islamic centers in Nepal’s border districts with India. What appears as cultural aid is, in reality, a sophisticated strategy to reshape Nepal’s demography by weakening its Hindu identity.

The foothills of the Himalaya are the new frontier of Population Jihad and Demography Jihad, where Turkey-emboldened forces create yet another soft launchpad for radical Islam on India’s doorstep.

The Turkish Blueprint: Islam Under the Veil of Aid

Turkey, rebranded as Turkiye, has expanded its footprint in Nepal through the IHH  – Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief. This NGO is known globally for its extremist links. Reports accuse it of receiving direct support from Turkish intelligence (MIT). Reportedly, more than £250,000 flows into Nepal annually, from these Turkish organizations, to propagate Islam and settle Muslims in its border regions.

By partnering with Islami Sangh Nepal (ISN) – an organisation with suspected jihadist ties – IHH has sponsored mosques, madrasas, orphanages, and Islamic centers.

On the surface, the narrative appears to be one of humanitarianism. In reality, it is an attempt at Jihad in another Hindu nation. The IHH-sponsored institutions push political Islam, creating a transnational ideological pipeline stretching from Ankara to Kathmandu. And Pakistan is happy to be the bridge between them! The involvement of SADAT, a Turkish paramilitary group linked with ISN, raises suspicions of militia training camps and secret radicalisation operations inside Nepal.

Demographic Jihad: How Nepal is Being Re-Engineered

The demographic data tells a sobering story. Nepal’s population is declining steadily. It recorded the lowest rate of 0.92 in the last eight decades. However, the Muslim population is on the rise. The reports state that:

  • 2001 Census – 4.2% Muslim Population
  • 2021 Census – 5.09% Muslim Population

While the increase may look modest, compared with the national average and the decline in its Hindu population by 0.11% in the last decade – these figures ring alarm bells. Most of the increase is concentrated near the Indo-Nepal border, near the foothills. The dramatic spike in Muslim residents is a red herring for Indian security agencies.

  • Kapilvastu district: 18% Muslim population.
  • Banke district: 16%.
  • Parsa district: 17%.
  • Rautahat district: 17.2%.

In just one decade, over 400 new mosques and madrasas came up near the border with India. The presence of Muslims in the border regions of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh coincides with the presence of Muslims of Nepal. This proliferation is not organic but deliberate. Many sources link it to state-enabled Demography Jihad against Bharat!

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) in 2015 legally facilitated quotas, madrasa funding, and special protections for Muslims.

Post-monarchy, Rohingya migrants and other Muslim groups were deliberately settled in border districts. Thus, strengthening the Islamic presence in sensitive districts. The result is visible: In places like Krishnanagar, houses reportedly removed traditional Om symbols and replaced them with Islamic markers like “786.”

Radicalisation and Terror Gateways into India

This Demography Jihad propelled the Population Jihad that Nepal shall soon face. Moreover, this deliberate religious engineering is not an isolated experiment to impact Nepal alone. The ripples of such an act directly impact India. Nepal has increasingly become a terror finance and logistics hub:

  • The ISI funds get routed into Kashmir operations via Nepalese youth.
  • Groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Indian Mujahideen have used Nepal as a base for recruitment and movement in India.
  • A 2019 US State Department report confirmed Nepal’s use as a safe corridor for terror activities.

Mosques like Jama Masjid Rahmaniya in Bhairahawa, Aisha Banaat Madrasa in Nepalgunj, and Shreepur Mosque Madrasa in Birgunj are flagged as potential hubs of radical preaching.

The locals of Nepal have woken to the horrors of this deliberate Islamization and terror-nexus in their land. Thus, recently, Nepali Hindus are rejecting this rapid Islamization of their borders. Moreover, they demand a return of their last monarch to steer them away from the Communist control over their policies. Hopefully, the efforts of pro-Hindu NGOs shall save this Hindu Nation from Demography and Population Jihad!

Turkey-Pakistan Axis: Targeting Nepal to Corner India

Pakistan plays an overtly hostile role against Hindus and India. However, Turkey uses a dual strategy of combining soft power through NGOs like TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) with covert militant links via IHH and SADAT. The goal is not only to empower Islamist groups inside Nepal but also to challenge India’s civilisational influence in the Himalayas. This creates a security crisis for Hindus in the border regions.

For Turkey and Pakistan, Nepal offers:

  • A religious frontier against India’s Hindu identity.
  • A strategic corridor for terror infiltration into North India.
  • A propaganda base to discredit India in international forums, under the guise of minority rights and secularism.

Last Call: India Must Wake Up

Nepali Hindus are awakening to fight for their right to exist. The forced transformation from a Hindu kingdom into a secular yet Islamising state is not an internal accident but the outcome of a calculated Turkey-Pakistan project. All of this was enabled by the Communist forces to weaken India in the Indian Subcontinent.

The rise of madrasas, influx of migrants, and demographic shifts near the Indian border are not merely social changes—they are a geopolitical red alert.

For India, ignoring this trend risks allowing another Kashmir to germinate silently, this time on its open border with Nepal.
