Farmaan-data: Farmers Protest Ask For Foreign Intervention on Bharat’s Soil?

Must Read

The ugly face of the Farmers Protest was unmasked by its participants! On its fourth day, a surprising turn of events emerged when these rioters-disguised-as-protesters wrote a letter addressed to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Why? Well, they begged for international intervention on Bharat’s internal matters! So much for their ‘Deshbhakti’ and ‘son-of-soil’ rhetoric! The letter was canceled after a rebuke from the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh! Let’s talk about this High Drama featuring Khalistani-Rioters-Dressed-As-Farmers and the Chandigarh High Court!

Farmers Protest Writes A Letter to The UN?!

Amidst the ongoing ‘Delhi Chalo’ kisan morcha, the protesting farmers and their leaders added a new dimension to an already charged atmosphere surrounding their protest. The Farmers Protest wrote a letter to the UN Secretary-General!!! The letter was submitted by petitioner Uday Pratap Singh on behalf of Indian Farmers. He wanted the UN to step forward and resolve the issue. Hoping that the demands of these subsidy-loving-free-water-electricity farmers will be granted in totality by the UN on behalf of India!

Uday Pratap Singh believes that Bharat’s government is unable to resolve this conflict.

However, Singh’s main gripe was the use of tear gas on violent rioters by the security forces!

This gas was used to disperse the mob of not-so-peaceful-rioters who attacked the police and disturbed the peace. Nonetheless, Singh projects this act as suppression of the ‘poor kisan’ by the Modi government.

Chandigarh High Court Slams The UN Letter And Petitioner!!!

A strong reaction erupted from various quarters after the news of the letter came forward. Even the Chandigarh High Court judges lost their cool at the petitioner for seeking foreign intervention on Bharat’s internal matters. The HC is already hearing petitions related to the Farmers Protest! The bench emphasized the need to address the issue within the country’s legal framework to all stakeholders.

In a scathing rebuke, the bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court condemned the petitioner’s decision to involve the United Nations.

Acting Chief Justice GS Sandhawalia and Justice Lapita Banerji expressed their strong disapproval. They even questioned the petitioner’s choice to take the matter to the UN after invoking the jurisdiction of the court. It seems the ‘kisan’ do not trust Bharat’s court as well!!!

The court emphasized the importance of addressing grievances through domestic channels. It also urged Singh to withdraw the petition from the UN. Thankfully, Singh saw the light of reason and retracted the letter. Currently, the matter stands adjourned until 20th February 2024 for further deliberation. However, the petition may have caused a lot of damage to the reputation of Bharat!

Word To The Wise

Asking for foreign powers to intervene in Bharat’s protests is giving them a foothold in Bharat’s political, economic, and social arena. These powers are not stakeholders in Bharat’s domestic progress or protest! Thus, the sudden call for international intervention can only act as evidence of the broader undeclared agenda of the Farmers Protest! They aim at garnering attention from foreign entities probably because they are being sponsored by foreign powers. Maybe their goal is not to be annadata but to be Farmaan-data?! Is the Farmers Protest just a staged riot aimed to defame the rising Bharat on international platforms?!

The unfolding drama surrounding the Farmers Protest unmasks its deep Kejriwal and CONgress roots. The aims stated by the various ‘kisan’ leaders of this protest underscore the duplicity of the protestors who project issues of safeguarding farmers’ interests but demand Khalistan!! While a peaceful resolution of the issue is important, threatening the government by rioting in the name of peaceful protests will bring forth contrary results. Maybe these protesters know this reality but ignore it? Is their goal not the progress of the nation nor the redressal of ‘kisan’ grievances? Are they looking to divide Bharat?! Are they aiming to burn the streets of India and damage its economy via riots? Every sane person knows the answers to these questions! Let’s stay tuned to debunk these Farmaan-data and their Andolanjeevi political threats!
