Shameless Pakistan And Its “Expired” Diplomacy!!

Must Read

Pakistan crossed all limits of shamelessness as it sent Humanitarian Relief way past its shelf Life to Sri Lanka!

Normally, humanitarian crises usually bring out the best in nations. However, now and then, a country steps forward to remind the world that generosity can be performed so disastrously that even the victims hesitate before accepting it.

Pakistan delivers yet another masterclass in how to turn a relief mission into a global comedy! Sri Lankan officials discovered that Islamabad’s “emergency aid” for cyclone victims included expired food packets – some so outdated they could practically qualify as archaeological artefacts!!

Expired Aid, Unexpired Embarrassment for Pakistan

When Sri Lanka opened Pakistan’s relief cartons, they expected essentials: biscuits, milk, water, maybe a few blankets. What they received instead were expired food packages, stamped boldly with an October 2024 expiry date!

For Pakistan’s diplomatic circle, this was a routine Tuesday; for everyone else, it was a new pinnacle in Islamabad’s tradition of trying to help – by not helping at all.

Pakistan’s High Commission in Colombo proudly tweeted photos of the shipment with the caption “Pakistan stands with Sri Lanka today and always.” Unfortunately, at least half the items in the boxes looked like they had been standing somewhere long enough to grow legs and walk back to Karachi.

This wouldn’t even rank as Pakistan’s worst aid fiasco. In 2023, when Turkey reeled from a devastating earthquake, Islamabad rushed to send “fresh relief materials.” However, Turkish social media users quickly exposed that many of these items were the same supplies Turkey had earlier donated to Pakistan during its 2022 floods. Pakistan is known for simply repackaging and forwarding is like an unwanted wedding gift.

Airspace Drama: Pakistan Lies, India Clarifies, The World Laughs

Adding another layer to this circus, Pakistan tried to salvage dignity by accusing India of denying airspace to its Sri Lanka-bound relief flight. The claim didn’t last long. India confirmed it had cleared Pakistan’s flight at 5:30 pm — long before Islamabad’s performance of wounded innocence began.

This fits neatly into Pakistan’s favourite sport: inventing victimhood faster than it can fix inflation.

Every time its lies collapse, the world is reminded that the country’s foreign policy often functions like its cricket team on a bad day – lots of swagger, lots of noise, zero delivery.

Bhikaristan’s Aid as PR: A Game NaPak Keeps Losing Badly

Most nations use humanitarian aid to display compassion and build goodwill. Pakistan uses it to create memes. The pattern is now painfully consistent:

  • Expired food to Sri Lanka (2025)

  • Recycled aid to Turkey (2023)

  • Beef Masal to Hindu-majority Nepal (2015)

Every Bhikaristani gesture meant to elevate Pakistan diplomatically ends up reminding the world of its administrative chaos and moral bankruptcy.

Sri Lanka’s tragedy didn’t deserve stale milk powder and expired biscuits disguised as compassion. However, in hindsight, Turkey deserves to play “spot your own donation” with its favorite partner in crime! But the world certainly doesn’t deserve to witness Pakistan’s endless parade of self-inflicted humiliation. Yet here we are.

Because if there’s one thing Pakistan produces in abundance, it’s drama followed by a bucket load of denial!
