In the never-ending saga of Hindu persecution, Salman Salim Thakur desecrated the idol of Shri Muthyalamma Devi at Telangana’s Secunderabad on October 14. He didn’t act alone; a so-called “personality development” workshop led by the ever-enlightened Munawar Zama fueled his hatred. Hindus, of course, have grown accustomed to this kind of abuse. The act sparked outrage, but Hindus demanding justice? Well, that’s always a risky proposition ending with lathi charge.
I strongly condemn the brutal and unjustified lathi charge on our Hindu brothers who were peacefully protesting at the sacred Matha Muthyallamma Temple in Secunderabad.
It is deeply disturbing that when our religious sentiments are attacked and idols desecrated, we are not even… pic.twitter.com/fciZcs1mQ4

Protesting for Justice? Get Ready for a Lathi Charge!
When Hindus protested the desecration, demanding justice through a state-wide bandh organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, they didn’t expect a peaceful response. A large crowd—men, women, children—gathered at the temple to voice their anger. The police responded in true form: swinging lathis with gusto. Hindus peacefully protesting, after all, must rank as a national emergency.
This is how Hindus were beaten by Congress's police for peacefully protesting at Mata Muthyallamma Temple over the attack on temples in Secunderabad, Telangana.
It won't attract outrage; if it were against Muslims in a BJP-ruled state, it would have become international news. pic.twitter.com/JOw4PULH69

With police eager to maintain order (read: silence), the protesters endured beatings. Water bottles, stones, and footwear flew, adding fuel to an already tense situation. But nothing compares to the classic police lathi charge—a tried and tested method when Hindus dare to speak up.
Who Needs Justice When You Have Police Batons?
BJP MLA Raja Singh saw the absurdity immediately. “Those responsible for desecrating the temple walk free, while the devotees get beaten for demanding justice,” Singh exclaimed. He questioned the motives behind the police action, but we all know the answer. If Hindus protest, they apparently deserve nothing but brute force.
Singh didn’t hold back, either. He slammed the Congress party’s blatant appeasement politics, where Hindu concerns regularly take a back seat to, well, everything else. Imagine the audacity—Hindus standing up for their religious beliefs and getting attacked for it. But it seems like business as usual, doesn’t it?
Personality Development or Hate Indoctrination?
The cherry on top? A motivational speaker named Munawar Zama, who convinced over 150 people—including the vandal, Salman Salim Thakur—that targeting Hindus boosts your personality. With the help of hotel manager Abdul Rasheed Basheer Ahmed and owner Rehman, Zama held a month-long session to preach hatred against Hindus. Who knew vandalism could double as a character-building exercise?
The police eventually filed cases against this trio. But let’s not get too excited. Hindus, as usual, remain the ones suffering while the “motivational” hate speech continues unchecked.
The Real Question: Who Ordered the Lathi Charge?
Singh asked the question every Hindu wants an answer to: who ordered the attack on peaceful protestors? But let’s face it, expecting an answer sounds like a pipe dream. Authorities seem more concerned with silencing Hindus than dealing with the actual vandals.
When faced with Hindu outrage, the priority always revolves around keeping them quiet. Apparently, punishing temple desecrators takes a backseat to preventing Hindus from “overreacting.”
Hindus, Forever the Punching Bag
Here we are again—another chapter in the Hindu saga of mistreatment. Hindus protest for justice after someone desecrates a sacred temple, and their reward? Lathi charges, injuries, and silence. Authorities rush to attack the victims while ignoring the culprits, showing us exactly where Hindu sentiments rank on the scale of political importance.
Hindus better start preparing for the next round. Helmets, anyone? Because in this country, when Hindus peacefully protest, they should expect a lathi to the head instead of justice.
