The Attackers: A Father and Son from Pakistan

Australian police acted quickly to identify the killers. The gunmen were a father and son. They have been identified as Sajid Akram (50) and Naveed Akram (24). Both men were of Pakistani origin.

Police snipers shot and killed the father, Sajid, at the scene. The son, Naveed, was captured and is now in critical condition under police guard.

Investigators found clear proof of their motive. Inside their car, police found Islamic State (ISIS) flags. They also found digital files filled with extremist propaganda. Intelligence reports show that the pair were not acting alone in their hate. They had become radicalized by watching videos from extremist clerics in Pakistan. This created a “home-grown” terror cell with deep roots in foreign extremism.

The Radical Mindset: Why They Hate “Infidels”

Why did this happen? To understand the violence, we must look at the attackers’ beliefs. The terrorists followed a radical Islamist ideology. This mindset teaches deep hatred for anyone who does not follow their specific view of Islam.

For these extremists, the world is divided in two. There are “Believers” and there are “Infidels” (often called Kuffar). They believe that the existence of an “infidel” is an offense to God. However, their hatred grows even stronger during religious festivals.

Radical preachers teach that festivals like Hanukkah (Jewish) or Diwali and Durga Puja (Hindu) are sins. They call these events Shirk, which means idol worship or polytheism. In their eyes, these celebrations pollute the earth.

This is why they chose to attack Bondi Beach during Hanukkah. Th wanted to send a cruel message. They believe that humiliating “infidels” during their holiest days is a pious act. They were angry, or “pissed off,” simply because others were happy and celebrating their own faith.

A Global Threat to Jews and Hindus

This tragedy in Australia is part of a larger pattern. The same ideology of hate targets different religions around the world.

  • Hatred Against Jews: This attack is a continuation of the violence promoted by groups like ISIS. They view Jewish people as enemies who must be destroyed.

  • Hatred Against Hindus: This same mindset attacks Hindus in South Asia. In Pakistan and Bangladesh, we often see attacks on temples. Processions for Ram Navami or Ganesh Chaturthi are often stoned or bombed. The attackers use the same slurs against Hindus that the Akram family used against Jews.

For the terrorist, a Jew in Sydney and a Hindu in Mumbai are the same. They are both part of the “Kafir” alliance that must be fought.

The World Must Wake Up

Today, families are mourning 15 loved ones. These victims did nothing wrong. They only wanted to celebrate their festival in peace.

The Bondi Beach massacre is a wake-up call. It shows that this radical mindset is a global cancer. Which is not just a problem for the Middle East or India. now a threat on the beaches of Australia. The world must unite to stop this hatred before more innocent lives are lost.
