One message read, “Today, while the Hindus were taking idols from Kadam Mubarak Masjid in Chittagong, some Muslim brothers had an argument with the Hindus. Then our brothers locked up 2 Hindu children in the mosque but by then the matter spread and Hindus came here. Come here too, tell everyone that Hindus have come to destroy the mosque, otherwise not many people will come. Everyone spread the word quickly.”

Bangladesh Islamic Student Camp Escalates Threats

The Bangladesh Islamic Student Camp used the mosque’s loudspeakers to incite further violence. They announced, “No puja can be done in Bangladesh. Those who want to do puja should go to India, otherwise today I will just give hot water from above and next time I will slaughter them. Idol worship will not continue in the country of 90% Muslims, inshallah.”
