Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Burns In Devastating ‘Peaceful’ Blaze?

Must Read

Uttarakhand forests have been burning for the past few days. These catastrophic flames ravaged the wildlife and ecological balance of the state, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. However, nature’s fury was not the only cause of these infernos that engulfed vast swathes of forests! These heartless flames were ‘peaceful’ fires caused by the ill intent of a deviant mind. Let’s talk about how one-book-radicals endangered the forests, wildlife, and human settlements alike.

Uttarakhand Forest Fires – An Unimaginable Loss

The fires caused untold damage to the forests of Nainital, Uttarakhand. They engulfed approximately 108 hectares of land in Uttarakhand. Reports talk of 26 incidents in the Kumaon region and 5 incidents in the Garhwal region. Some reports state that 54,000 hectares of forest cover has been claimed by the flames since 2000!!! As the embers rage on, it’s not just the forests but also the livelihoods and ecosystems that hang in the balance. Countless species of flora and fauna have perished in the flames, disrupting delicate ecosystems that took centuries to evolve. The loss of habitat and food sources threatens the survival of many vulnerable species, pushing them closer to the brink of extinction.

Additionally, the toll on human lives and livelihoods has been equally severe. Villages have been evacuated, homes destroyed, and crops consumed by the relentless fires. The District Forest Officer, Chandra Shekhar Joshi, recounts how the harrowing progression of the blaze from the Nanda range came very close to the Indian Air Force establishment. Had the authorities not worked tirelessly to extinguish these infernos, the devastation would have been unimaginable!

The ‘Peaceful’ Hand In Uttarakhand Forest Fire!

The Uttarakhand fires, although grim, are not just a tale of climate change. ‘Peaceful’ zombies played an important part in ensuring that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand burns! The BJP Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi names five ‘peacefuls’ in his tweet. He marks them responsible for using the rising temperatures and drying forests to create the perfect conditions for harming an important national resource – The Reserve Forests.

Does Devbhoomi Burn In Land Jihad?

While scant showers provide relief in the fight against the fires, there are many important questions one must ask:

  • Why did the ‘peacefuls’ cause this devastation to forest land? Are they destroying the natural heritage of Bharat or burning ‘Ishth Devta’ temples in these lands?
  • Or are they trying to create chaos during election season?
  • By starting the fires, are they trying to evacuate Hindu settlers who have lived and prayed for generations on this land?
  • And will they pretend to be original settlers of the destroyed land in an effort to gain foothold in these foothills?

Thus, ‘Land Jihad‘ may very well be the true cause of these fires. Add to the mix, the increased influx during the past few years, and it’s a sure shot recipe for disaster. Many ‘Ghuspethiye’ live and breathe in Devbhoomi. Although CM Dhami is trying to combat the rising number of illegals in the state, the situation in Uttarakhand is extremely volatile. Bharat awaits an official statement regarding the ‘peaceful’ motives.

Unfortunately, Devbhoomi still struggles to put out the raging infernos that are causing untold damage. Thankfully, the Indian Air Force, Army personnel, Prantiya Rakshak Dal volunteers, and homeguard personnel have united in a valiant endeavor to combat the flames. Their tireless firefighting operations stand as a testament to human resilience in the face of adversity. However, every day brings news of new incidents! Let’s hope Devbhoomi is saved from these ‘peaceful’ flames of destruction and regains its natural beauty soon. May those who harmed Bharat Mata be punished by the law!
