Hamas Supporter Parveen Shaikh & Media’s Support for Hinduphobic, Terrorist Sympathisers

Must Read

In a startling revelation, the left-liberal media and those with sympathies toward Islamist ideologies have once again showcased their bias by rallying behind individuals espousing Hinduphobia and endorsing terrorist outfits like Hamas. Recent events surrounding Parveen Shaikh, the principal of Mumbai’s prestigious Somaiya Vidya Vihar school, have ignited a firestorm of controversy. It exposes the alarming trend of media complicity in downplaying her pro-Hamas and anti-Hindu social media activities.

Exposé of Parveen Shaikh

Exposés by outlets like OpIndia have shed light on Shaikh’s unabashed support for Hamas, notorious Islamist preacher Zakir Naik and the orchestrator of the 2020 anti-Hindu Delhi riots, Umar Khalid. Despite these damning revelations, media giants such as Scroll and Hindustan Times have shamelessly rushed to Shaikh’s defense. They are attempting to whitewash her reprehensible behavior under the guise of political correctness.

A recent report by Scroll is provocatively titled “Mumbai School Principal Targeted by Hindutva Website”. It exemplifies the insidious agenda at play. They have framed OpIndia’s investigation as an attack on Shaikh’s Muslim identity rather than an exposure of her dangerous affiliations. Scroll perpetuates a narrative of victimhood that obscures the real issue at hand. The promotion of extremist ideologies within educational institutions.

Scroll Supports Hamas Supporter

Scroll’s feeble attempt to pass off Shaikh’s support for Hamas as mere “political views” is a slap in the face to victims of terrorism everywhere. Hamas is a designated terrorist organization responsible for countless atrocities against innocent civilians. It is not simply a matter of political opinion. It is a threat to peace and stability in the region. Yet, Scroll and its ilk seem more concerned with pandering to their ideological allies. They should be confronting the harsh reality of extremism.

But the deception doesn’t end there. Both Scroll and Hindustan Times have gone to great lengths to downplay Shaikh’s alarming social media activity. They have conveniently ignored her explicit endorsement of Hamas and vitriolic attacks on prominent Indian leaders. They have cherry-picked quotes from supportive parents and invoking tired tropes of victimization. These outlets seek to manipulate public opinion and shield Shaikh from the consequences of her actions.

Where’s The Accountability?

This is not about religion or identity—it’s about accountability. Shaikh’s actions are not simply a matter of free speech; they represent a dangerous erosion of our values and a betrayal of the trust placed in her as an educator. The fact that she has invoked “freedom of speech” to justify her support for terrorism only underscores the urgency of the situation.

As responsible citizens and consumers of media, we cannot afford to turn a blind eye to this blatant hypocrisy. It’s time to demand accountability from those who claim to speak for us, and to reject the poisonous ideologies that threaten to tear our society apart. The future of our children depends on it.
