Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge referred BJP and RSS as poison and labelled them as “politically the most dangerous” entities in India. Addressing a rally in Sangli, Kharge cited the analogy of a “Poisonous Snake” and emphasised that it must be killed in his speech.
“If there is anything which is politically the most dangerous in India, it is the BJP and the RSS. They are like poison. If a snake bites, the person (who is bitten) dies. Such a poisonous snake should be killed,” he said.
‘BJP, RSS Like Black Mamba’
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party spokesperson Manoj Yadav was seen supporting Mallikarjun Kharge’s analogy. He said, “Black Mamba is one of the most poisonous snakes. He (Kharge) should have compared BJP-RSS to this snake. Then I think the country would have better understood how poisonous are RSS and BJP.”

BJP Hits Back
The BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari called out the Congress party for its anti-Hindu ideology. He said, “Mallikarjun Kharge is provoking people against Hindus. The lives of Hindus are at risk. If the Congress party comes to power in Maharashtra, its attempts to incite people against the patriotic members of the RSS in Maharashtra and Jharkhand clearly reflect its intentions. The Congress party’s ideology is profoundly anti-Hindu. This is the same ideology that described the 26/11 Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack as an RSS conspiracy. Such a mindset must be strongly opposed.”

Commenting on the same, The BJP National Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla slammed Congress for its analogy. Speaking to ANI, he said, “..‘Yeh mohabbat ki dukan hai ya nafrat ke bhaijaan hai jinki zubaan mein kewal nafrat ka samaan hai’. Kharge ji has spoken about a party which is the world’s largest democratic party, whose Prime Minister has been elected by the people for the third time, which means in a way he has clearly called the people poisonous.”
Continuing further he said, “First, blame the Election Commission for EVM and now when you are losing the elections, you start abusing the people. They are not abusing us, they are abusing the public and insulting constitutional posts is the identity of Congress.”
