“Factories of Terror”: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Targets Illegal Madrasas

Must Read

Uttarakhand is the eternal home of the gods. Consequently, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a historic stand for its safety. He recently addressed the Assembly with a fierce warning. Any attempt to harm Sanatan culture will face a brutal response. Furthermore, he emphasized that the state belongs to the devotees, not the infiltrators. This marks a significant shift toward cultural reclamation in the hills.

Closing the Factories of Terror

The Chief Minister explicitly called out illegal madrasas as “factories of terrorism.” These institutions often breed radicalization instead of providing modern education. Therefore, the government is already moving to shut them down completely. By July 2026, the state will abolish the Madrasa Board entirely. Instead, students will study a state-approved curriculum that prioritizes national values. This decision ensures that children are no longer tools for extremist agendas.

Ending the Scourge of Jihad in Devbhoomi

The government is also launching a massive campaign against various forms of Jihad. For instance, “land jihad” has systematically occupied thousands of acres of forest land. However, the administration has already reclaimed over 5,000 acres from these illegal encroachers. Additionally, “love jihad” and “spit jihad” are now under the lens of strict new laws. We must prevent these predatory tactics from diluting our demographic balance. Clearly, the state is no longer a soft target for religious expansionism.

Protecting the Future of Devbhoomi

The implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) provides a legal shield for all citizens. Moreover, it ends the era of special privileges for radical groups. Chief Minister Dhami has shown immense courage by speaking the truth.

CM Dhami’s remarks come amid ongoing efforts by the state government to review madrasa registrations and ensure compliance with education and administrative regulations.

Supporters of the move argue that the scrutiny is necessary to regulate institutions operating outside the formal system.

For the Uttarakhand government, however, the message from the Assembly was clear: protecting Devbhoomi’s cultural identity remains a central priority, and the administration intends to continue its campaign against institutions it believes threaten that identity.
